I had the pleasure of documenting Spacecamp 2024, an annual in-person retreat for the remote team behind Universe, a web app development company. Held at The Horseshoe Farm in Hendersonville, NC, the three-day gathering brought the team together to collaborate, reflect, and unwind. During the day, I captured their team breakout sessions filled with strategic thinking and creative problem-solving for their app. Off the clock, the team spent time hiking, practicing yoga, making pasta by hand, cold plunging, and sharing farm-to-table meals. Approaching the project with a documentary eye, I focused on the genuine warmth and connection that naturally unfolded as this team came together to reconnect, recharge, and celebrate their work and the future ahead.
