Alvin Fersner

Alvin is an artist, using black and white 35mm and 120mm film as his medium of choice to communicate how he observes and shares to the world around him. The hour we spent in studio photographing portraits of one another was a collective moment of creativity and openness, one that I will always be inspired by. He gave me the gift of capturing his joy, his passion, his held emotions and his humanness. This portrait session was a reminder of how we can be ourselves, and that when we are honest with who we are and open to others that we can experience the fullness of a present moment in time.
